Agent Carter is the best cbm show. I like that they make only 8, but awesome episodes istead of 24 idiotic.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Agent Carter One-Shot will fill into this once everything is said and done.

@TheAmazingAvenger the show runners have said that the one is meant to be the end cap to the series. So if the show runs more then one season, it would all take place prior to the one shot. It's looking less and less likely that the show will be renewed, so the finale will likely see Peggy still working at the SSR, possibly under someone other then Dooley (her boss is a different character in the one shot). Also she would have to move at some point on the show/prior to the one shot. She doesn't live in Brooklyn yet.

Also, can all the Americans with TVs watch this show live when it airs? The ratings have been shitty and it's looking like it won't get a renewal. Please watch Live or Same Day. Those are the only ratings that really factor into renewal.

@homodrome

They aren't going to have a second season? Why? The show is good, one of the problems is you can't watch it on ABC.com without giving out some garbage information like who your cable provider is. I have the Internet and I'm on your website why do I need to give you Cable information? Retards! So the entry barrier is a problem. Hulu charges I think for the newest episodes so there is another barrier. Problem with them is getting it out there on the net when it airs on tv. Times have changed the audience is on a computer like device more then the couch now. If that is why they cancel then it's their own fault.

Last night's show was UNBELIVABLY good. LOVED the reveals on Thompson, and the head of the SSR is looking like he is beginning to doubt that Stark is actually a traitor, that he has been set up.

And, I think it is possible that it is Thompson, not Sousza, who ends up married to Peggy.

SUCH a great freaking show. So VERY good.

Oh, and the Black Widow, Ms. Regan?

WOW.

Oh, and homodrome, I don't have cable, I watch this show on Hulu Plus.

But I WAS selected as a Nielsen voter this year.

I got Agent Carter's back. AND Flash. AND Arrow. AND Vikings. AND Game of Thrones.

@homodrome ,
It doesn't really matter if millions more watch the show, it only matters if you are a Nielsen family.

@GirlRage check out TvByTheNumbers.zap2it.com or check out the @cancellationbear on twitter. they do a pretty good job of explaining the way the ratings work and show renewals etc. In plain terms, it does really good DVR numbers but a less then ideal number of people watch it live in houses that are nielsen monitored. The ratings have been around 4.3 million live+same day which is below what has been historically needed for a renewal. The only bad part about such a short run seems to be that people are holding off in favor of binge watching/watching a few at a time.

homodrome - 2/4/2015, 5:43 PM
@bropous a nielsen voter? is that where they have you fill out a diary of what you watch?

most of the nielsen families seem to be elderly... all watching NCIS and big bang reruns.

I have to say, I loved that Dugan wanted to take out that little girl with a hand grenade. It was hard to argue against it, too...

I saw that ABC has decided on spoiling any mystery if it happens to bring in more viewers... They were running commercials before the last episode saying that the mission to Russian uncovers "a Black Widow training program" and calling Dottie one of them, specifically to name-drop the Avenger.

Sure, hard-core comics fans already figured all of that, but still... Hopefully they don't decide to spoil something that would really be a cool revelation in the last few episodes.
