I liked the Hulk reference when gamma rays were mentioned and the gamma canon was used to blast the black hole object

Such a shame because the first season was pretty great. It took a while for this season to find it's footing and ABC's shitty retarded promos didn't help.

This season definitely got better towards the end. Hopefully the finale is at least as good as Episode 8.

I'd be disappointed if Agent Carter is finished. It's a great show and Hayley is brilliant in the role. For such a popular character, it's a shame more MCU fans weren't watching the show.

The show is reaching plothole territory as it's currently early to mid 1946 in the show, but SHIELD was founded that same year in the movies. If this season doesn't end with a cameo by Tommy Lee Jones and have him, Stark and Carter form SHIELD, then the series will be non-canon to the films.

Speaking of the films, Carter was not this genius detective in them. She was important to Steve and was good at her job but she was no unstoppable force as the show seems to depict. Also, the show has her beating up guys twice her size, but we never saw her doing any sort of training. There are just rare brief mentions that she was trained like the others and implications that it was part of being in the SSR.

But my complaint of the show is that it seems to have no larger goal. It's taking it's time establishing SHIELD, it's building up a character who will probably never get a solo movie and exists only in the past, and it is far too linked to the history of other characters and events to be it's own standalone story.

If Season 2 is ends the series, there are more questions than answers:
-What of the Russian doll program? It obviously kept going if Romanoff was part of it. How'd that happen if it was supposedly shut down by Carter and the Howling Commandos?
-Fitz explains that SHIELD was formed when Hydra was defeated by the SSR, but Frost isn't part of Hydra and we haven't really heard about them in Carter's story for some time. Where are they?
-Where's SHIELD?
-Where is Hank Pymm during this point in time?

@Bakersfield - Actually Peggy was a badass in the movie when Dr Erskine was killed she was one of the first to jump into action going after the Hyrda Agent even b4 Steve and shot his driver with pinpoint accuracy. She was in the battlefield against redskull with gun in hand and i wouldn't say they made her unstoppable because when her and Jarvis were sparring he bested her by surprise. She beating folks because of her surprise elements

I would love to see Hayley Atwell in an Invaders movie at some point. I imagine that Universal's deal with Marvel (which expires next year) for Namor and Fox having the Human Torch rights has been what held them back from Captain America aside from the Jim Hammond android cameo. I'm sure there's enough space in the Captain America timeline to include them somewhere.

Who knew in 2008 when Iron Man was released that we'd get a Peggy f*cking Carter TV Show 7 years later? So happy I get to live in a time where these characters, big or small, are getting the spotlight.
