Also, I have to say, when "No More Mr Nice Guy" by Alice Cooper came on, I was pumping my hands in the air in excitement. My favorite Alice Cooper song.

May's powers are the only issue I had with this episode. Not sure where they're going with that.

@BlackBeltJones - didn't personally bother me, made sense a bit given that she went to a place that lacked emotion and now senses those of people around her. But will have to see how its used going forward. I will say, I thought they did a great job explaining her various reactions so far this season with this new empath ability.

@HeavyMetal4Life - it just seems out of nowhere to me. Its early and things develop but I'm a little bored with her arc so far. Everyone else, I'm into.

@BlackBeltJones - okay, I'll give you that. So far her arc this season isn't as good as the rest.

My biggest qualm with any one character's decision this season so far was Daisy telling Deke to kill Malick, going against protocol and potentially having untold consequences on the timeline. Just seemed like a very not AOS decision and out of character too. It was an Arrowverse decision on SHIELD, if you get what I mean. But, this past episode put that decision in hindsight and made it more understandable.

So far though its been a really good season, better than season 6 I'd say (even though s6 had a couple of the series' best episodes).

@HeavyMetal4Life - I didn't like Daisy's move there too. It was very bullheaded.

Poor Enoch. Not only is he basically abandoned, he's forced to listen to drunk sob stories for like 40 years. Clark definitely nailed the inner monologue narrations. Episode hit all the right notes for a noir, from the femme fatales to the train ride to the twist ending.

Sousa will end up in 2012 to become that cop during Chitauri invasion.

@JDL - S.H.I.E.L.D. surely has tech to fix that.

@ExSOLDIER - Not and be undetectable imo. Plus the risk if it was discovered would be unacceptable.

I love these kinds of episode, i just missed a couple of songs to set the mood, but overall it was quite good.

I still fondly remember the SV episode:
