First Look At Lucy Lawless As 'Agent Isabelle Hartley' In AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

I wonder how they will go about finding agents to trust. I'm sure Hydra is still floating around pretending to be good SHIELD agents.

I hope we can get a name drop for SWORD this season. It'll be a while b4 there is a need to show or mention them in the movies.

I hope ABC and marvel studio announce another show after next season(SWORD hopefully)

With big screen movies, netflix shows, and tv shows..... The MCU is getting bigger and bigger every year, no other studio has ever done this!!!! EVER!!!

Id like to see Marvel Studios adressing this whole Shield tv show world on the actual movies.

Now that Shield enters its second season, its about time the movies show some connection, at least the Cap movies, so would be nice to see in Cap 3 a few characters from this show, at least Coulson, MOckinbird and someone else to make us believe all these things happen in the same universe.

Gambgel, remember that Coulson is still "dead" to everyone. Even Cap.

That should have been revealed in Cap 2, considering Steve was getting angry with Fury over his many secrets.

If she doesn't than I might give up on this show. And I am literally it's biggest defender. I [frick]ing love it. I don't even hate Skye. But if they don't make Lucy's Isabelle THAT Isabelle than I might have to quit this bitch.

Im re-watching all of Season 1 at the minute, and I still agree with the general opinion, the first half is unwatchable sometimes. This is due to mostly filler first half of the season & a terrible loose tie-in episode to Thor 2 (the Sif episode would have been far superior).

And I wouldnt have minded the filler episodes as I agree with the producer's opinion, it takes a while to build up the story over the first half of a season...but in superior shows, they at least have interesting characters and well-written & interesting stories to keep us going until the story arc picks up...not Agents of SHIELD though. We were stuck with almost CW-level (and Im talking bad CW, not good CW like Supernatural and Arrow) Skye, the annoying antics of Fitz and Simmons (that goddamn prank episode nearly made me stop watching), the barely passable Coulson and the hardass May & Ward with all the personality of a brick wall

But, I will give the show credit, because suddenly from Episode 10 onwards, the show shook of its silly beginnings and rose to a much more interesting level, with the story arc ramping up, the characters actually developing into more likable people because they were responding to the story arc and slightly better writing and ACTUAL DANGER was introduced...when Skye was shot, I was utterly shocked. and then the couple of filler episodes were damn interesting because it connected to the overall Marvel Universe and included actual Marvel characters like Sif and Lorelei.

THIS IS THE MODEL TO USE FOR THE NEW SEASON, focus most of it on re-building SHIELD, hunting different factions of HYDRA, finding out the truth about Skye & her alien past and using the filler episodes to chart other events going on in the Marvel Universe (be it film or non-film events)

Im hoping we get 5 to 8 seasons of the show, Season 2 and 3 could be about re-building SHIELD, keeping ahead of the authorities, fighting the more secret factions of HYDRA (while the Avengers take out the more immediate HYDRA threats such as Von Strucker). Then if Captain America defeats the HYDRA leadership in Cap 3, have Season 4 and 5 be about SHIELD taking on the last of the remaining left-over HYDRA threats who are dangerous because they are HYDRA pushed into a corner. Then if the show survives that long, have the final remnants of HYDRA put a contingency plan into action that creates or releases superpowered individuals or something like that, so SHIELD has something to fight in Season 6 to 8

AND OVERALL, have the entire show be about re-building SHIELD. SHIELD shouldnt return to its former level of large-scale operations until the finale of the final season. then the movies can re-introduce the new SHIELD years from now, which has been re-building in the background (for people who dont watch AOS)
