THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER Social Media Reactions Promise A Solid Start And Heaps Of Action

The embargo has lifted on social media reactions for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ahead of its premiere next week, but what are critics saying about the second Marvel Studios series to hit Disney+?

There's just one week to go until The Falcon and The Winter Soldier hits Disney+, and Marvel Studios has lifted the embargo for social media reactions. Now, we know to take these with a pinch of salt based on past experience, but we have a wide selection of opinions here, and the consensus is definitely a positive one.

While WandaVision proved to be a little divisive after not paying off some big fan theories, it was a hit for the studio and streaming service, so all eyes are now on this show to live up to its predecessor. With only one episode shared with critics, it's hard to get too much of a read on what to expect, but it sounds like a solid opener with some great action.

Most important for many fans, however, will be the fact that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's premiere appears to be bringing back memories of Captain America: The Winter Soldier

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience.

Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
