The first poster art for Marvel and Disney+'s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was unveiled at the D23 Expo today, and we have a low-res version for you guys to take a look at below.

As you can see, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) appears to be sporting a slightly upgraded costume, but he hasn't donned the mantle of Captain America yet. Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), on the other hand, looks very different to the last time we saw him in Avengers: Endgame, having gone back to the more clean-cut appearance he had when we were first introduced to him in The First Avenger.



We recently found out that Daniel Brühl and Emily Van Camp are set to return as Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter, and it's also been announced that Overlord actor Wyatt Russel will play U.S. Agent. 

The six-part limited series is scheduled to begin production this October, and will be directed by Kari Skogland. The show is expected to debut late next year.

Wow, fans must be so disappointed he got a haircut :P


Glad he finally got one. In Civil War he looked like a caveman. In Infinity War/Endgame they tried to style it more perfectly but it seemed a bit odd.

Good poster, subtle changes to their outfits so they mostly look the same.

This article was refreshingly short and to the point. Not even the usual tacked on view list (from a whole other article) button. 😁

If you’re a huge fan of SW and Marvel then definitely.

But HBO has had quality content for 20+ years lol. These shows haven’t even been released yet and it’s already the “premiere streaming service.”

Honestly, these two guys could be in their civilian clothes the entire Series (no one wants that, but they could).

It's all about their characters and the energy these two share.

The actors in the MCU breathe life into their roles and it's easy to see them as ONLY that. What they wear doesn't matter anymore because they most definitely are who they are supposed to be.

I hate to be sexist but they have one woman directing every episode. If she's not as good as say the woman who directed The Hurt Locker (for example) I don't know how she's going to communicate these guys' experiences or connect with the 18-49 male demographic

It seems like her and the guy from Empire are diversity hires (I'm black)

That is a good poster. Bucky resembles a lot more his comic book counterpart. And I think Falcon's Cap look will develop over time through the show and the movies too.

Getting rid of Bucky's emo look was a good idea. He was in serious need of a makeover for a while. Sam's patriotic colors look great. I can't wait for the premiere.
