With less than 48 hours to go until Hawkeye arrives on Disney+, Marvel Studios has shared the first in a series of posters inspired by the upcoming TV show. As you can see below, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop are spotlighted, though we are pleased that they've also included Lucky the Pizza Dog!

In related news, Jeremy Renner has obviously being doing the rounds to promote Hawkeye and reflected on a turning point in his Marvel Cinematic Universe career.

Shortly after his daughter was born, the actor laid down the law with Marvel Studios and even dared them to recast him. Why? Well, for 18 months, Renner had to fly from London to L.A. every week to see her, often for just a few hours at a time (we're assuming this was during production for Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2014).

"It taught me how to have the nuts to say, 'Everyone, f**k off. It's my time with my daughter,'" he tells Men's Health. "I said, 'Fine, recast me. I'm going to be here with my daughter.' It was pretty gnarly." Luckily, something was evidently worked out as Renner is still suiting up as Hawkeye!

"Set in post-blip New York City, former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero," reads the synopsis for the series. "The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit."

Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021...with the first two episodes!
