After a less than stellar IMAX run, which was essentially derailed by some of the worst reviews ever received by a Marvel property, Inhumans finally debuted tonight with a two-hour premiere that featured exclusive never-before-seen footage.

With the Royal Family now scattered and alone, next week, Black Bolt, Medusa, and company will continue their efforts to find one another as Maximus sends reinforcements down to Earth to stop his brother once and for all. 

In lieu of an episode promo, ABC has released a one-minute extended preview for the rest of the season, which features scenes from a few episodes down the line and teases one epic showdown between the brothers Black Bolt and Maximus the Mad. Check it out below:

"Divide and Conquer" - After fleeing their home, The Inhumans desperately search for each other in the wake of Maximus' coup. Now they must learn who they can trust on Earth, on an all-new episode of "Marvel's Inhumans," airing on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.

I enjoyed it but it never belonged on a movie screen. I noticed one bad instance of Medusa hair but that's acceptable imo. The rest of the effects and graphic designs were very acceptable for TV but would be a bit bland for a movie. If that is unacceptable to any of you then that is your problem. This is nowhere near the disaster that it has been portrayed as being. So far.

I'm half way through the first episode. Persoanlly, I think it's fine.
For TV I think the CGI is great (medusas hair when active looks great) and I'm surprised how expansive Attilan is (I was simply expecting a normal city).
Character wise I'm really enjoying Medusa and Karnack.
Overall, I think the acting and dialogue is fine. (Though the first scenes dialogue was awful)


My only real issue is the terrigenisis segement. Why aren't they turning into stone like agents of Sheild. It can't be because they are using pure crystal instead of the impure, as it was pure crystal that leaked into the sea.

Congrats on missing the point of my statement. That is that Inhumans should've been a film.

Tv directors have no idea how to use IMAX cameras and Inhumans is proof. All the impressive stuff visually is cheap gags as in nature shots & slow mo shots which is a gimmick not even Snyder uses anymore

Having an IMAX camera in the hands of a film director like Snyder (who at least understands visuals) & you could've gotten a visually stunning Inhumans film

Instead of a visually lame, poorly acted, dull, boring show. The only other marvel property I've seen as dull as this was Fant4stic

watch inhuman is not that bad as i thought i should never listen to fanboys and i'm give the show a chance to get better. i like medusa and lockjaw is cute dog.

Man that was bad. They cheaped out on everything. They cut Medusa's hair to cut down on cost. They barely had Lockjaw to cut down on cost. They had 3 minutes of Triton cause they got lazy with makeup. The Attilan set looks like a parking garage. The pacing made it boring. And the story is terrible. Did they even pick up an Inhuman comic?!

The best part of the episode was Black Bolt's confrontation with the police after the shoplifting.

Not because the scene was good, but because there's a point where he starts running away after handcuffing one of the cops, and when that happened my mom turned to me and said "He kinda runs like a pussy".
