LOKI: Could THOR Actress Jaimie Alexander Return As Lady Sif? Speculation Mounts After Insta Post

Loki is shooting again in Atlanta after a lengthy delay, and an Insta post from Thor actress Jaimie Alexander has prompted speculation that she'll be reprising the role of Lady Sif for the Disney+ series.

Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) was introduced in the first Thor movie and had a fairly substantial part to play in the story, but since then the character has been seriously underutilized in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with only a short cameo in Thor: The Dark World and an an appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to boast of.

A rumor that Marvel was planning a solo Sif series for Disney+ did the rounds last year, but we haven't heard anything since. More recently, Alexander seemingly hinted that she might be set to reprise the role in an interview ("I would probably cease to exist if I actually told what I have coming up"), and has now reignited speculation with a new Instagram post.

The actress shared a photo of herself masked-up on a plane, along with the caption,"En route to #Atlanta ✈️ First time pandemic flying...not too bad. Masked up, loads of sanitizer, sitting alone and keeping hydrated. Might be the cleanest airplane I’ve ever been on..."

We know Loki is currently filming in Atlanta, and while there's always a chance Alexander is heading to Georgia for another project, fans are convinced she's on her way to the set of the Marvel show to join the fray as the highly skilled Asgardian warrior.

What do you guys think? Will we see Alexander as Lady Sif in the Loki series, or is her trip to Atlanta a complete coincidence? Drop us a comment down below.

Don't mind seeing her as Sif again. Heavily underutilized character that deseves more. Hopefully we'll get to more of her besides in Loki

Always want more Sif. Make her even more of a badass now that all her friends and Asgard itself have been wiped out.

I’d love to see her in Loki but it would be a damn shame if she’s not in Love and Thunder. The potential to have Valkyrie, Lady Sif and Jane Foster Thor would be a complete shame to miss.

Is it too late to go full Norse in the 4th movie? I would love to see her and Balder, and some of the other folks from Asgard left out of the MCU. I know Asgard was destroyed but they could explore the other 8 realms. The Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, frost giants and the Mid-guard Serpent
