Hot on the heels of that Black Widow sneak peek, Tom Hiddleston has shared the first official clip from his upcoming Disney+ series Loki, featuring a fun scene with his titular God of Mischief getting acquainted with Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and not being particularly impressed with what he has to tell him about the Time Variance Authority.
While plot details for the six-episode first season are currently being kept under wraps, the show will see the God of Mischief working for the TVA and attempting to course correct the convoluted timeline of Marvel Cinematic Universe, which he appears to have inadvertently broken when he escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.
In addition to Hiddleston and Wilson, the cast of the Disney+ show includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show; Belle), Sophia Di Martino (Flowers; Yesterday), Wunmi Mosaku (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them; Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), and Academy Award-nominee Richard E. Grant (Logan; Can You Ever Forgive Me?) in undisclosed roles.
Loki will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 9.
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
