We've been eagerly anticipating the debut of Loki all year, and the first episode of the series finally arrived on Disney+ earlier today. There's a lot we have to talk about after taking a deep dive into the Time Variance Authority (not to mention those intriguing hints about the Multiverse), but it's that mysterious organisation's mascot we're focusing on here.
While Miss Minutes only plays a minor role in the premiere - don't worry, there's more to come next week - the end credits reveal that Marvel Studios enlisted an A-List voice actress to play her.
That's right, it's Tara Strong who lends her voice to the TVA mascot. You will, of course, know her best for playing Harley Quinn in everything from the DC Animated Universe to the Arkham video games (not to mention Rocksteady's upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League).
That barely scratches the surface, as Strong has also played characters like Batgirl, Raven, and countless others across all sorts of major franchises. This is by far her biggest Marvel role yet, though, and one we'll hopefully see her stick with for a long time to come (we're guessing that her work on Rick and Morty could be what put the actress on head writer Michael Waldron's radar).
In our review of Loki, we concluded by saying, "Nothing can prepare you for Loki, a mind-bending dive into the Marvel Multiverse that takes everything you thought you knew about the MCU and turns it on its head for one of the most ambitious, craziest stories Marvel Studios has ever told."
Are you excited to see Strong in the MCU?
