Thanks to Total Film, we have a new batch of stills from Loki. These put the spotlight on a number of characters from the series, including the titular God of Mischief, and the Time Variance Authority's Mobius, Hunter B-15, and Judge Renslayer. We also see a shot of Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson alongside series director Kate Herron.
This series promises to be fascinating on a number of levels, and these latest stills emphasise the role Loki will play as an unwilling(?) member of the TVA.
With Loki facing the threat of deletion, it seems the TVA is able to force The Avengers villain to work for them and fix the timeline he broke by escaping with the Tesseract. Of course, Loki being Loki, he's bound to have something planned, especially as we're talking about a version that has missed the events of Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War.
In Loki, the imperious God of Mischief, who, after absconding with the Tesseract, is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer. Recently, we learned the show will premiere on Disney+ on June 9th, 2021.
