Tom Hiddleston had an incredible run in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and if Loki season 2 is the final time we see him as the God of Mischief, then the actor went out on a high.
After making his MCU debut in 2011's Thor, Hiddleston would go on to appear in Captain America: The First Avenger (it's easy to forget, but he was in a post-credits scene shot by Joss Whedon), The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
He also shot a cameo in Avengers: Age of Ultron which ended up on the cutting room floor.
Despite that, there are still many characters who Hiddleston's "God Loki" hasn't had the opportunity to cross paths with on screen. Talking to ComicBook.com, the Loki star revealed who he hopes to meet should an MCU return happen somewhere down the line.
"There are a couple of characters I think...I don't think Loki ever met the Guardians, if I recall," Hiddleston says. "That could have been fun, I think. I think he would've found them intriguing. I think it's interesting that Loki never comes up, never comes face-to-face with Spider-Man, I think that's correct."
"I think he never meets the Winter Soldier, never meets Bucky or Sam. I always wanted to see...Loki and Strange is an interesting matchup, I think. In Ragnarok, I think Strange, that is one-nil to Doctor Strange based on that particular interaction."
If Loki factors into either of the next Avengers movies, then chances are he'll get to meet even more of the MCU's heroes. For most fans, a reunion with Thor is a much bigger priority, though only time will tell whether that happens. Before the God of Thunder is reunited with his brother, though, he could meet his sister!
