Cleo Anthony Also In The Running For LUKE CAGE Role In Upcoming Netflix Series
Just as another name has been added to the shortlist of actresses up for the role of Jessica Jones, Marvel and Netflix are also said to be eyeing a third actor for Luke Cage; relative newcomer Cleo Anthony! Hit the jump for details and a look at the man who might be Luke Cage...
Earlier today, Deadline added another name to the list of actresses in the running to play Jessica Jones, and have now done the same for Luke Cage. Apparently, Marvel and Netflix are also looking at Cleo Anthony for the role of the hero known as Power Man, and compared to the other two names mentioned as being considered yesterday, he's a much lesser known actor! His credits include "Dauntless Patrol #1" in Divergent and appearances in the likes of NCIS, Transparent, and Trophy Wife. He definitely looks the part, but does he have the acting chops to star in six or seven episodes of Jessica Jones AND carry his own 13-part series? What do you guys think?
