SpoilerTV has just released the production schedule for the 2015-2016 year. One of the shows to have their production dates revealed is Marvel's Luke Cage. Note that while this might not be 100% accurate, it is still nice to have a sense of when the show will start production. Accoridng to the site, Luke Cage is to begin production on August 18th, 2015, and finish production on March 11th, 2016. The lengthy timeframe is about the same amount of time that Daredevil and Jessica Jones have had for the shooting of their shows. Hopefully we will also get casting updates in the near future regarding key players from the Luke Cage mythos.

Leave your thoughts below and don't forget to thumbs up the article!

Marvel’s Luke Cage is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. Mike Colter will play the lead role and Cheo Hodari Coker will serve as showrunner.

i'm not familiar with Luke so i'm basically indifferent. Just make sure Punisher get his own show after Daredevil s2 ends.

come to think about it ... Statham stated that fights in comic book movies are bla bla bla, yada, yada, yada and anyone could do it. Not sure it was the main reason why Marvel went looking for another actor to portray Bullseye in Daredevil s2 but ...
couldn't they just send him a copy of Daredevil s1 and make him change his mind ?
Yeah ...

Recently, a rumor surfaced that Thor director Kenneth Branagh could be coming back for the third Thor, Thor: Ragnarok. Well, Feige shot down that rumor definitively. Branagh won’t direct part three—but Feige does think we’ll find out who will soon.

I think towards the end of the summer there will probably be a filmmaker announcement and a writer announcement...

Is he saying that Thor 3 won't be written by Kyle and Yost? Odin, let this be so!

Hell's Kitchen is like two blocks...are these heroes going to run into each other? They have too! Is Luke Cage going to take place in Harlem or naw? That's his stomping ground. Jessica Jones and Cage will have to read about Daredevil in the paper or here of his law firm. Wonder if Danny Rand and Cage will eventually get a heroes for hire show

@Wannabe

Yea, but it looks like Odin has heard my prayers about how shitty of writers they are when it comes to Thor.

Marvel re-hired them in January of last year according to the above link.

I agree with you. Their work on The Dark World was weak. Prefer Marvel find someone else to write the script.

I hope they can nab GDT. I know he's a WB guy, but that man knows how to write fantasy.

Hells kitchen is a lot bigger than "like two blocks".

@KurtWagner1225

If that's the case, I hope they completely revise it from scratch. Marvel didn't have faith in the script for The Dark World since they let Whedon revise it last minute. For better or worse.

I remember how pissed I was when they were announced as the writers for Thor 3, but Feige in that interview with io9 said that a new writer will be announced at the end of this summer.
