The third episode of Ms. Marvel will be available to stream on Disney+ from tomorrow (or tonight depending on your timezone), and we have a new, extended clip featuring Kamala Khan and her family enjoying themselves at Aamir and Tyesha's wedding.
Kamala certainly knows her way around a dance floor, as does her pal Bruno, who is clearly enamoured with the budding superhero.
In the closing moments of episode 2, we learned that Khan's high-school crush Kamran may not be all that he seems, and may be fully aware of Kamala's incredible abilities. We're sure this new dynamic will factor into the episode, but for now, it's party time.
Ms. Marvel has been a big hit with critics, but not so much with Disney+ subscribers. According to a recent report from Samba TV, only 775k US households watched the premiere over the course of its first five days on the streaming service.
"Ms. Marvel is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City," reads the show's updated synopsis. "An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?"
Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
