"The world is burning, and it was you who lit the match."
With just one month to go until Secret Invasion arrives on Disney+, Marvel Studios has debuted a brand-new trailer for the highly-anticipated "game-changing espionage thriller."
This latest teaser features plenty of new footage Nick Fury and G'iah in action, and it's made abundantly clear that Talos' daughter blames the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director for the Skrull invasion. Will the freedom fighter ultimately side with her own people when push comes to shove?
In a recent interview with USA Today, Ben Mendelsohn (Talos) hinted that the series will be a lot grittier than the usual MCU fare. “This is one the grownups can dig. It’s mental. I hope it ends up being one of the coolest things that they’ve done.”
Check out the teaser below, along with a new promo poster.
"In Marvel Studios’ new series Secret Invasion, set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity."
The series stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.
Ali Selim directs and executive-produces, along with fellow executive producers Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet and Brian Tucker. Kyle Bradstreet is also the head writer, and Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.
