As production continues on Marvel's Secret Invasion in The UK, more videos and photos from the set have found their way online, and they might just tell us a little more about Emilia Clarke's mysterious character.

The first video was shot just outside Piece Hall in Halifax, which appears to be doubling for a "Russian Unity Day event." Screaming can be heard inside, followed by a loud explosion and black smoke rising from the set. Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, and Kingsley Ben-Adir were all spotted in the area prior to filming, and a second video shows Emilia Clarke arriving by car and walking calmly through the panicked crowd towards the source of the blast.

It's been speculated that the Game of Thrones alum might be playing Abigail Brand, but after previous set photos showed her being tailed by Smulders, it's looking far more likely that she's either a Skrull agent or is working with the shape-shifting aliens.

Then again, it's very difficult to draw a solid conclusion from some out of context set vids!

Plot details are still under wraps, but we do know that the show will follow the basic premise of the comic book by focusing on "an infiltration of Skrulls on Earth" (no big surprises there). The cast will also include Olivia Coleman (The Favorite, The Lost Daughter) in an undisclosed role.

Thomas Bezucha (Let Him Go) and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower) have been tapped to helm the upcoming miniseries, which was written by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot). No official premiere date has been set.

This might very well be Daisy she's playing. I'm not sure I like the prospect of Chloe lashing out on them for recasting an Asian actress with a white one but we'll see...

Unnamed, really? Just announce her as Abigail Brand already. Or as Abigail Brand being impersonated by Lyja or Veranke. Same with Ben-Adir. Hoping he is Paibok

Explosives are very normal in the mcu.

The lesser Humans in the mcu should be shrugging at them by now.

I think she's playing the Lea Thompson character from the Lucasfilm Howard the Duck movie.

Still not feeling it on this one. The only reason the invasion storyline carried weight in the comic was to the impact it could have on decades of characters and stories. Too early for this and will lack that potential and punch ( which was wasted in the books).
