The social embargo for Secret Invasion lifted a few hours ago, and that means we now have a much better idea of what to expect from Marvel Studios' latest Disney+ TV series.
As you'll see, the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive so far, a relief to those of you who perhaps haven't been that excited about the show. The marketing campaign has only really picked up in recent weeks and with it clearly not an epic event like the comic book it shares a name with, there are those who have wondered, well, what's the point?
Thankfully, an incredible performance from Samuel L. Jackson, major twists and turns in the first two episodes, and the fact it's a true espionage thriller clearly means this a is series that does indeed have a point to make as a fine addition to the wider MCU.
The review embargo lifts later today, anyway, so check back here at 9am PT for our full Secret Invasion verdict.
