Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Charlie Cox will indeed reprise the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil, with the character heavily rumored to make his MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home next week. We've heard that the Man Without Fear will also show up in She-Hulk, and a very interesting rumor relating to the character's appearance in the Disney+ series is now doing the rounds online.
While chatting to the guys on the Change My Mind Podcast, GWW's KC Walsh claimed that Cox's Daredevil will don his classic yellow costume for his She-Hulk appearance. As Marvel Comics aficionados will no doubt be aware, Murdock actually wore this suit as a homage to his father's boxing robe before switching to the his more recognizable red outfit.
How much stock you want to put in this is open for discussion, but Walsh has had a few scoops pan out in the past, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. Plus, if Marvel Studios is planning to "rebrand" this take on Daredevil following Cox's portrayal in the Netflix show, it only makes sense that they'd change-up his costume in a significant way. That said, we're not sure how well the yellow duds will translate to the screen. It was a cool alternate look for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen in the comics, but most would agree that the hero's signature red costume is a lot cooler.
What do you guys think? Would you like to see DD in the yellow suit? Be sure to let us know what you make of the rumor in the usual place.
She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany in the title role, along with Jameela Jamil as Titania, Renée Elise Goldsberry as a character named Amelia, Tim Roth as Abomination and Ginger Gonzaga as Jennifer Walters’ best friend (most likely Jill Stevens). Dead To Me director Kat Coiro wil helm the pilot and several other episodes, while Rick and Morty scribe Jessica Gao leads the writers' room.
No premiere date has been set, but the show is expected to hit Disney+ sometime next year.
