DAREDEVIL: Did Kevin Feige Tease Matt Murdock's Return For The Disney+ SHE-HULK Series?

We didn't get confirmation that Daredevil will return in Spider-Man 3 during Disney's Inventors Day, but there's speculation that Kevin Feige may have been teasing The Man Without Fear for She-Hulk...

Daredevil fans were hoping for an official announcement regarding Matt Murdock's rumored return in the currently shooting Spider-Man 3 during last night's Disney Investors Day, and while that never came, we did get a possible tease of the Man Without Fear's involvement in the Disney+ She-Hulk series.

After first confirming the return of both Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner) and Tim Roth (Abomination), Kevin Feige sent speculation into overdrive by hinting at other lawyers Jennifer Walters may or may not encounter during her adventures, before adding, "in courtrooms in the MCU you never know who you will run into."

Of course, Feige may not be referencing Daredevil specifically, but a lot of fans are convinced that Charlie Cox will indeed reprise the role for the Disney+ series. After all, if Marvel Studios does intend to bring the Devil of Hell's Kitchen into the MCU, She-Hulk would be a great place to fully re-establish the character following what's said to be little more than a cameo in the Far From Home sequel.

We're still waiting on video/audio of Feige's comments to put these quotes into better context, so it's probably best not to put too much stock into this supposed Daredevil tease for the time being.

I’d take him back over Maguire and Garfield any day. Hell i’d take him back over any other announcements or rumours

@Cap1 - Charlie Cox is Matt Murdock. All of the petitions and Netflix cancellations really set the wheel in motion. And this kind of gives Spiderman some allies against the Sinister Six. I always figured Peter would get help from She-Hulk but now adding in Daredevil makes me think we will be getting The Defenders vs The Sinister Six.

I REALLY hope they bring back Cox and crew for Daredevil but I don't think he was hinting at this. I think this is wishful thinking.

Err, don't think he hinted at other lawyers. Pretty sure he was just referring to her potentially crossing paths with superheroes in different cases she takes up or whatever.

@Kurne - that's how I heard it too

@Kurne - Yep. He said she specializes in representing super heroes so you never know who might show up. Said nothing about other lawyers.

There is no reason Daredevil and Punisher can't be soft-rebooted back into the main MCU with the same crew if Fiege really doesn't want to bring the Netflix series into the MCU Hard Canon.

@MrDandy - it is waaaay to late to separate Netflix marvel shows from mcu continuity. Some actors will change and some characters won't return but it's locked in since years ago

@MrDandy - It depends on the terms of the deal made with Netflix . If it is deemed to interfer with Netflix's rights then they will need permission. Given the circumstances that would amount to promoting the Netflix shows which is unlikely.

She-Hulk will be mind blowing my most anticipated Marvel show. She-Hulk, Hulk, Abomination and now Matt Mudock / Daredevil.

This is a no-brainer. He and Fisk are some of the most appropriate casting in MARVEL. Put the people we want in place, cause the guys we've lost is going to be felt moving forward. Phase 4 has felt like mostly 2nd string across the board. We need heavy hitters, and bringing familiar faces is a great way to transition. Penny, penny.

I mean it only makes sense for Matt Murdock to show up. It's the lawyer circuit. It'd be great to have Heroes for Hire show up. With an accurate costume for Iron Fist of course

I watched it live, and there really isn’t much more context. He was clearly teasing cameos, but those could be anyone. Yeah, if Daredevil is truly being added to Spider-man than he’d be a logical one, but I suspect we’ll see more than just him even if that’s true.

It's been a while since I saw Season 3 but I thought Matt Murdock wasn't a lawyer anymore?
