SHE-HULK's Official Synopsis Seemingly Leaked By Disney+ UK Along With Possible Premiere Date

Someone is getting fired, because a recent blog post from Disney+ in the UK has revealed both She-Hulk's premiere date and an official synopsis for the highly anticipated series. Read on for details...

There's a lot of excitement for She-Hulk, especially with rumours swirling that the series will be vastly different to anything we've seen from Marvel Studios before now. While we've been expecting to see the show hit Disney+ sometime this year, a recent blog post from the official Disney+ website in the UK has seemingly confirmed that it will head our way on Wednesday, August 17.

With that news comes a brief synopsis confirming a few previously reported details about the show and the rumor that, yes, She-Hulk is seemingly going to be a full-blown comedy series.

"This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too," it reads. "Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination."

While websites like this have been known to make mistakes, the post has now been edited to remove any mention of She-Hulk. Secret Invasion and Ironheart are listed with "TBC" release dates, but someone at the studio has clearly panicked and just decided to delete the entire entry about Jennifer Walters' Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Hopefully, this will prompt an official announcement.

She-Hulk could be a game-changing project for the MCU, especially if we're going to see Bruce Banner pass the baton to his cousin. However, it's the rumblings that Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil that has fans perhaps most excited, especially after his Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo.

As noted, it looks like She-Hulk will arrive on Disney+ on August 17.

The tagline of every new Marvel show: “This show will be different than anything from Marvel Studios up until now”.

@WruceBayne - where’s the tagline? I thought this was just the synopsis?

@GhostDog - I’m saying they say the same thing for every show that comes out.

Great news for me. Sooner is always better, and NO the Hulk isn't retiring. Hulk will be in all MCU phases.

Doesn't really surprise me. They probably wanted it to be online before the Halloween special.

And I guess from this we can also extrapolate the premiere dates for Andor, The Mandalorian and the Marvel specials (assuming they want some weeks between premieres and finales)

Obi-Wan Kenobi: May 27
Ms. Marvel: June 8
Andor: July 29
She-Hulk: August 17
Halloween Special: October 26
The Mandalorian: November 11
Holiday Special: December 21

@bkmeijer1 - So no room for Secret Invasion, I am Groot or What If...? S.2 this year?

@ElvenKingSlayer - I Am Groot and Star Wars A Droid Story (s the latter still a thing?) maybe, since I guess those could both be released on one day.

Don't see Secret Invasion or What If happening thise year anymore though.

She-Hulk 10 EPIC episodes longest MCU show to date. Taking Loki's spot because they have huge plans for, She-Hulk and the Hulk in MCU.

After Loki this is my most anticipated Disney Minus show.

I'll be honest. This will likely be a comedy.

@Lokiwasright - Don't look now but all Marvel Studios movies and shows have been labeled comedies that's why some attack Disney / Marvel movies.

If She-Hulk is another Guardians of Galaxy I will be happy.

@Lokiwasright -

Well, she-hulk is always a comedy comic book, for the most part.

@Lokiwasright - It literally calls it a comedy in the synopsis. And She-Hulk's most popular runs were comedies. So I'm not sure what you were expecting...

@Lokiwasright - the better stories from the title were of that nature especially when JB was writing them.

@DoubleD - I disagree. Just because there's an occasional joke or humor does not make the movie a hard comedy. It's the secret to Marvel's success. By bringing in the whole family multiple times it allows them to reach the billions consistently. I don't know why anyone would object. As long as the popular they will continue to be made. Why is that a bad thing? Especially for comic book fans.

@Lokiwasright - you'll be honest huh? They took a comedic comic and made a show were the synopsis calls it a comedy. Hello Sherlock.
