Deadline has broken the news that Arrow alum Josh Segarra is the latest addition to the cast of She-Hulk. The actor has just signed with CAA for representation, and while Marvel Studios has not commented on the casting, the trade has no intel on who he will be playing, regardless!
While many of you will likely remember Segarra best for his time in The CW series as Adrian Chase/Prometheus, he has plenty of acting credits to his name, including the upcoming second season of HBO Max's The Other Two. He's previously appeared in Orange is the New Black, Katy Keene, and Trainwreck.
Segarra has joined a cast that includes Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga, Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth, and Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo.
She-Hulk is billed as a legal comedy that will follow the title character as she defends those with superhuman powers in court. Rumour has it the hero will break the fourth wall, while there have also been rumblings that Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil. However, pretty much none of that is confirmed and likely won't be until Marvel Studios decides to reveal more.
The series isn't expected to premiere until well into 2022, so we may not even get a first look at this one until early next year. Cameras are currently rolling, but we've not seen any set photos.
