The social media embargo lifted quite a bit later for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law than it did for the previous Marvel Studios Disney+ shows, which led to some speculation that the Mouse House might not be fully confident in this latest MCU adventure.
There was no need for concern, however, as the first reactions to the first four episodes have been very positive so far.
As we expected, She-Hulk appears to be a full-on comedy with relatively low stakes and very little drama, but the clever writing ensures a steady stream of very funny gags. Star Tatiana Maslany also comes in for a lot of praise, as does the creative team of director Kat Coiro and writer Jessica Gao.
One major worry after the first trailer was the slightly shoddy-looking VFX used to bring the Emerald Amazon to life, and while most of the kinks seem to have been ironed out, there are still a few less than stellar shots in there.
