There have been rumblings for years about A-Force assembling in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but is the world ready for an all-female team of Avengers? We'd like to think so, though the negative response to that empowering team-up during Avengers: Endgame's final battle could suggest otherwise.
Despite that, it's no secret that Elizabeth Olsen and Evangeline Lilly were among those who approached Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige about an A-Force project. Now, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany has shared her hopes to be part of that team.
Talking in the clip below from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Maslany was asked if she would like to see her sensational superhero lead A-Force. "Yes. Yes. Yes," the actor responded. "Kevin? Where’s Kevin? Kevin? Hire me."
This is an expected answer, but it's also one that suggests Maslany has long-term plans as the MCU's She-Hulk. While the show's trailers have made it clear that Jennifer Walters is more interested in being a lawyer than a superhero, it seems inevitable that the character will eventually assemble alongside the rest of The Avengers.
She-Hulk is a great character, and with Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson also talking openly about their A-Force hopes, you have to believe we'll see that team sooner rather than later. For now, though, Earth's Mightiest Heroes don't look set to return until Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars are released as part of Phase 6.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the hero as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18. Check out Maslany's comments in full in the player below:
