Wong returned in today's episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and he needed Jennifer Walters' help dealing with a magician called Donny Blaze. A former student at Kamar-Taj, Donny had been causing chaos with his act, sending poor Madisynn into an alternate dimension before she was sent the Sorcerer Supreme's way...which saw her promptly spoil The Sopranos for him.
Unfortunately, Donny doesn't appear to have any ties to Johnny Blaze, so hopes of a Ghost Rider cameo in this series have been dashed.
However, Jen has bigger problems on her plate than a spirit of vengeance. At the end of "Is This Not Real Magic?" the sensational superhero gets a knock on the door. She's been served by superpowered influencer Titania; the villain is taking the lawyer to court because she owns the trademark to "She-Hulk," and things just got a whole lot more interesting in the series.
We have to believe Titania is messing with Jen after she was humiliated during that brief courtroom battle, though we do wonder if, four episodes in, the bigger plan at play here will finally become clear next week.
If She-Hulk needs someone to represent her, that's how Daredevil could come into play. Matt Murdock is one heck of a lawyer and not someone who operates out of Los Angeles, so a high-profile case like this might be what brings the Man Without Fear into Jen's neighbourhood.
In a mid-credits scene, Wong has struck up an unlikely friendship with Madisynn and is shown watching This Is Us with her while discussing the many alcoholic beverages he's yet to try. Something tells us she's going to become a firm fan-favourite in the MCU, so don't be surprised if this newly created character pops up elsewhere at some stage.
