We still don't have a definite timeline for when cameras are set to start rolling on Marvel's She-Hulk, but it looks like the Disney+ show has now begun to search for actors to fill some key supporting roles.
According to The Illuminerdi, a casting call has gone out for a recurring character with the codename A’Dood, who is described as "a 20-30 year old female shapeshifter" who "embraces Earth’s pop culture. Enjoying the way she lives life, she uses her power in any way that she can to make her happy."
Based on the description, this character is almost certainly a Skrull, which means she's most likely Jazina.
In the comics, the daughter of the Super-Skrull was friends with Jennifer Walters and the two even joined forces as bounty hunters for a time. Jazinda is not the only possibility, of course, but introducing a prominent Skrull character would be a great way to tie She-Hulk into Secret Invasion and/or Captain Marvel 2.
Tatiana Maslany is set to star as She-Hulk, with Mark Ruffalo confirmed to appear as Bruce Banner. Tim Roth is also on board as Abomination, and we know that an actor to play a mysterious female villain is currently being sought.
Dead To Me director Kat Coiro wil helm the pilot and several other episodes, while Rick and Morty scribe Jessica Gao will lead the writers room.
What do you guys make of this report? Any casting suggestions for Jazinda? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.
