SHE-HULK Is Not Happy About Blonsky And Wong's SHANG-CHI Fight In New Episode 3 Clip

The third episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is set to hit Disney+ tomorrow, and Marvel Studios (via IGN) has debuted a new clip featuring Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) paying her new client, Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth), a visit.

Walters has just found out about Emil's little excursion from prison in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, when he faced-off against Wong in a cage match. The fact that he transformed into Abomination and left his cell could tank his parole hearing, but Blonsky insists that the Sorcerer Supreme gave him no choice in the matter.

Jen gets on to Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and asks her to track Wong down, and if you look closely at her mobile screen, you'll see that everyone's favorite Master of the Mystic Arts' (sorry, Strange) previous jobs included librarian and Target employee!

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

I AM NOT TROLLING, BEING SARCASTIC OR ATTEMPTING TO START ANY TYPE OF “FLAME WAR” or WHATEVER IT IS THAT SOME PEOPLE DO ON THIS SITE. I HAVE A LEGITIMATE QUESTION.
We’re all in agreement, right?
Can someone give me an example of a current female led movie or show that isn’t considered “Woke”? I’ve seen that term used when referring to She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Batgirl(before the cancellation) and Wonder Woman to a lesser extent.

@WruceBayne - what exactly makes a show or movie “woke”?

@WruceBayne - the term “woke” is used so freely these days and I hate it.

While I don’t fault this show for being “woke” - I think it’s not taking enough swings to challenge the patriarchy so it’s just throwing out buzz lines. It’s lazy at best.

@WruceBayne - No, of course, because every new female super hero show will be called "woke" by someone. This says everything about the people calling it "woke" and nothing about the actual show.

@WruceBayne - Very current one's I'm not sure what else is about other than the subject in hand but others ones that wouldn't fall into that broad bracket would be Alita, Wonder Woman, All the Mila Jovovich Resident Evil films, Lucy, A Quiet Place 2, The Shallows, Hunger Games, Bumblebee, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Arrival etc

@Radders - these are good examples, thanks.

@LSHF -absolutely. You get an announcement of a show or movie with a strong female lead and it’s automatically called “woke” and I just don’t understand why.

@WruceBayne - it is admittedly thrown out a lot. Personally I don't consider wonder woman woke. The way I'd explain it as them pushing the agenda that women are being put down by men. This is shown by having a Mary Sue character who's never really challenged and doesn't go on an arc to improve herself, while being surrounded by men who are either evil or incompetent (mostly both).

This is why I don't consider wonder woman woke, as she needs to learn the evils of the world aren't solved by beating up an evil God. Also she heavily relies on Steve and his soldier friends to assist her.

Captain marvel and she hulk are shown to be inexplicably great at everything they do, and any character flaws they have aren't considered flaws for her to overcome (meaning it's just bad writing). That and there's no good, competent men around them.

Hope that clears it up, at least in regards to woke female movies.

Last episode was awful. I thought the first was solid with the fun cousin dynamic but this episode blew. Hopefully only up?

F**k me. Never mind. This may be the first MCU show I’m unable to finish.

I actually almost feel bad for being so mean to iron fist. Both seasons were Casablanca compared to that abysmal episode.

@MrDandy - Apparently, the first episode used to be the fifth, but because it was the most liked in the test screenings, they put it first.

It's all downhill from here.

@TheLobster - lord no one wants to watch a show that challenges the “Patriarchy” why does everything have to be such a social slog? Why can’t it be about a huge green women who’s funny and kicks ass ? People have to make everything a boring social lesson.

Liked it but if this ain't your thing just move on. No need to be nasty and no point in arguing about what amounts to a difference in taste.

@JDL - no one's really being nasty here. We're just expressing our frustrations with the series. And it's an ongoing show set in a franchise people love. Of course there's gonna be heated opinions on it if it's bad.
