Season two of The Punisher started shooting five months ago and production has now officially wrapped on the Netflix series. Actor Jason R. Moore (who played Curtis in season one and will return for this next batch of episodes) revealed that work on the show has concluded in the Instagram post below and this probably means we can expect to see the first trailer at the New York Comic-Con.

It also points to the show returning relatively early in 2019, while rumours continue to swirl that Daredevil season two will be with us this year (a fairly reliable source has even claimed they've got screeners for the first few episodes). We'll have to wait and see on that front but after a solid - if not quite perfect -
first season, it will be interesting seeing what exactly The Punisher delivers next.

In addition to Jon Bernthal and Moore, the show will also feature Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, and Deborah Ann Woll along with newcomers Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima, Giorgia Whigham, Corbin Bernsen and Annette O’Toole. Are you excited to see more from The Punisher? Sound off down below.

Great! Hopefully the second season will be great as well. Luke Cage S2 really surprised me. I know that a lot of people love DareDevil S2, but personally I thought it wasn't as good as the first one. Jessica Jones S2 was really disappointing, while S1 was (and is still) my favorite season of all Marvel series on Netflix. Iron First S2 looks promising as well!
