NBC has hired Carlton Cuse (LOST) & Ryan Condal to produce and co-write the show's pilot.

This isn't the first time that Cuse has drank the water from this particular well - he was also a writer and producer on the THE ADVENTURES OF BRISCO COUNTY JR, another genre bending western, close to twenty years ago.

Looks like it got an upgrade. Last yeasr, Universal was developing this for Syfy. I guess somewhere along the way, they shifted it to NBC. It's usually the other way around. A project is being developed for a major network, but ends up being relegated to a smaller cable network. Must mean they really have faith in it.
