From a technical standpoint, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is a marvel. Even those who aren't a fan of story being told could appreciate the effort and ambition behind the finished product. As a major point of entertainment discussions during the holiday season, Bandersnatch has no doubt intrigued and challenged viewers to create their own path.

Instead of debuting a new season of Black Mirror, Charlie Brooker and company delivered Bandersnatch . Following a young game designer named Stefan, the protagonist has to overcome several obstacles to make his own choose-your-adventure game a reality (with a whole lot of cheeky meta commentary involved.)

The Black Mirror installment reportedly required several months of prep and shooting to ultimately become the experience we all know and admire. For curious fans, Netflix has dropped an insigtful look into how Black Mirror: Bandersnatch was made.

Meh, I wasn't the biggest fan of this, personally. I watched it over the weekend with my SO and I feel like it would've been a lot better had I watched it alone on my laptop or my streaming device.

That being said, it -- as an episode of Black Mirror -- was pretty decent overall. I liked the super meta-textual parts of it. But I don't see this "catching on," so to speak. I think people just want to flip on Netflix and veg out, with as little interaction as possible.

Pretty good episode overall. I just hope this is a one-off, and not a recurring thing for Black Mirror.

Regardless, I'll be waiting right here for season 5 like...

I like the concept but the movie kinda sucked. Cool experiment though.

I still can't go and force myself to watch it even with all the hype.
