Following Wednesday night's announcement that Jupiter's Legacy will not be returning for a second season on Netflix, several members of the cast have taken to social media to share their reactions. We heard from Leslie Bibb, Matt Lanter and Andrew Horton yesterday, and series lead Josh Duhamel has now weighed in.
The Transformers actor, who plays mega-powerful hero The Utopian in the adaptation of Mark Millar's comic series, shared a shirtless photo of himself with the caption: "When you get dumped by @netflix and have to put yourself back out there.... #sexysantasummer. What’s up, @hulu?"
We assume he's joking about the rival streamer potentially picking up the show, but it definitely sounds like he's not best pleased with Netflix for deciding to "dump" Jupiter's Legacy after just one season.
Though writer/EP Millar maintains that the door is open for the show to return down the line, he has now turned his attention to a live-action Supercrooks series which will be set in the same universe. While this would potentially allow for characters from Season 1 of Jupiter's Legacy to appear, it's yet to be confirmed if that's something Netflix is planning.
