Netflix has dropped the first trailer for
Stranger Things season three and while it initially appears as if the residents of Hawkins, Indiana are finally getting a normal summer, it quickly becomes clear that everything isn't quite as it seems.
Set to The Who's "Teenage Wasteland," the trailer features Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Max (Sadie Sink) hanging out and having fun before a number of new creatures make their presence felt and, well, they're pretty terrifying!
Season two of
Stranger Things was good, but didn't quite live up to what came before so it will be interesting to see how this third batch of episodes compares and just how much of the mythology is expanded on as we delve into the Upside Down.
