Even though Netflix's
The Umbrella Academy featured well known talent such as Ellen Page
(Super), Robert Sheehan
(Misfits), and Mary J. Blige
(Sherlock Gnomes), it was the young Aidain Gallagher who really got fans talking.
Gallagher's portrayal of the tough time-traveling Five was loved by viewers and many comic book movie fans were quick to fan-cast him as Damian Wayne. His acting alone is impressive for his age, but it seems that the star happens to be multi-talented, as he has released a new song that he completely self recorded and produced in his bedroom.
Although the song in the video below, which was posted to Gallagher's Twitter account, may be titled
I Love You, the actor/song-writer has made it clear in his message that is is not, in fact, a love song. The release of
I Love You marks his second self-recorded and produced single, following last year's release of
For You.
Below you can check out Gallagher's tweet which contains his new song,
I Love You, followed by the video for
For You. We have also included the
Season 1 trailer of
The Umbrella Academy along with its synopsis so let us know your thoughts in the comments and if you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check them out!
When it rains, it pours. From the minds of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy is the story of a super-dysfunctional family of superheroes who have eight days to get it together and save the world.
The Umbrella Academy Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
