The third season of The Umbrella Academy is set to premiere on June 22, and Netflix has now debuted a pair of character posters featuring the "No. 7s" of the show's feuding factions.
We recently learned that Elliot Page will now play Viktor Hargreeves, presumably after Vanya transitions (though there's a chance this is simply an alternate timeline version of the character), and the youngest Hargreeves sibling is spotlighted here alongside his Sparrow Academy counterpart.
Yes, Christopher is a... cube! An Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube, to be precise.
A recent character breakdown described him as "a telekinetic cube of unknown origin. He can turn the room freezing cold and induce paralyzing fear. He acts as the Sparrows’ consulted oracle who hands out incredible advice and serves as the family mediator. Trustworthy, loyal, and is treated by the Sparrows like any other sibling, Christopher is a force to be reckoned with."
The season 2 finale of The Umbrella Academy (you can check out our review here) saw the gang successfully save the world (again) from Armageddon, but when they returned to their own timeline, they found themselves in an alternate reality with the Sparrows seemingly led by the now very much alive Ben Hargreeves.
The Umbrella Academy season 3 will consist of 10 episodes, with main cast members Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore all confirmed to return. Steve Blackman is also back on board as showrunner.
