THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Rumored To Feature These Characters From THE MANDALORIAN

We recently learned that The Book of Boba Fett might well include an appearance from Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin, and another three characters from The Mandalorian are now rumoured to be in the spinoff.

Lucasfilm cleverly avoided having Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett cross paths in the season two finale of The Mandalorian, but a post-credits scene would reveal that the bounty hunter eventually returned to Tatooine. While there, he gunned down Bib Fortuna, and seemingly took control of the planet's crime syndicate.

That story will continue in The Book of Boba Fett this Christmas, and while we still don't know whether the spinoff will be a movie, limited series, or new TV show, it's generating a lot of excitement online.

Last week, we learned that there are reportedly plans for Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin to appear in TBOBF Now, the reliable folks over at Kessel Run Transmission have weighed in by claiming that he won't be the only familiar face we see.

Apparently, Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Migs Mayfeld (Bill Burr), and Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) will all also be part of the series, and it's likely the mention of the latter which will most excite fans. After all, he spent quite a few years decked out in Fett's armour, and the bounty hunter is sure to have something to say about that. We'd take a team-up over a fight, however.

This is just a rumour for now and should be taken with a pinch of salt. The information comes from a reliable source, though, and these cameos would make sense on a number of levels.

Keep checking back here for updates, Star Wars fans!

Don't know how Greef and Mayfeld might play into this, but Cobb makes a ton of sense. Can see him doing some sherrif-ing around the new kingpin in town

@bkmeijer - Mayfeld could be Boba's designated pilot, if the spin-off is anything like the mothership we'd see Boba assemble a crew of people around him. Since we already have Fennec, Mayfield makes sense since he proved himself.

I realise it wouldn’t happen but imagine if Boba had a bounty placed on him and Mando had to take it up.

Four links in this short article to CBM's own Star Wars content but no link in the article to to the Kessel Run Transmission, the source of the original material on which the article is written? That's very very poor form, Josh and CBM. Yes I realise there's a link up in the little tiny header above the article but nobody's going to click that. Come on, guys, if you are going to lean on another web site as your source for a whole article, you really should be giving them a link in the article itself.

Excited for more of Olyphant and Burr, both characters fit a more crime oriented Mando spin off perfectly.

Walton Goggins has to play a criminal from Tatooine. He would be great as a Bounty Hunter or a slave trader similar to Shmi Skywalker.

And I want to see William Fichtner playing an Imperial officer on some show.

Hoping Weathers gets a chance to direct another episode. He did a great job first time around.
