With only two episodes of Hawkeye left, there's really not long to go before The Book of Boba Fett blasts on to Disney+. Lucasfilm has released three new stills from the Star Wars series today, with the spotlight once again put on the titlular bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand.
Fett looks awesome here, and certainly comes across as a fitting ruler for Tatooine's underworld. While we don't know if his attempts to rule the planet will actually pan out, it's going to be interesting to see whether any familiar faces from the wider Star Wars Universe learn of the bounty hunter's new mission.
The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dave Filoni, Steph Green, and Kevin Tancharoen have all been confirmed to direct episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, but we don't know if any of the filmmakers will be pulling double duty or if there are still more to be announced in the weeks ahead.
The Book of Boba Fett finds the title bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The show arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
