ANDOR Season 2 Set Video Sees Cassian Find An Important New Ally In The Rebellion - Possible SPOILERS

Work continues on season 2 of Andor with cameras currently rolling in Valencia, Spain. Characters like Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Riley) have all been spotted on set in recent weeks, and these new videos offer a look at a very intriguing meeting.

As you can see below, Cassian and Mon are finally set to cross paths, and it's possible this is their first meeting. We will get to see that in the second and final season, anyway, but what's happening here?

It's hard to say without context, but Cassian appears to be pleading with Mon as they walk frantically through a location that looks very much like Coruscant. Mon seems a little reluctant, but Cassian is trying to lead her to parts unknown (all while avoiding Imperials, of course).

Bespin Bulletin (via SFFGazette.com) has shared some photos from the set and believes Robert Emms (Lonni Jung) and Kleya Marki (Elizabeth Dulau) have also been present lately. There's some speculation that, rather than this being Coruscant, it's Mon Mothma's home world of Chandirla, but time will tell on that front.

We know we'll reach a point where Mon publicly makes her feelings about the Empire known before setting off to lead the Rebellion, and that's a moment we anticipate being covered during Andor's second batch of episodes.

Despite a slow start, the show's first season proved to be nothing short of phenomenal and delivered a new take on this Galaxy Far, Far Away. As a result, excitement for the show's return is now through the roof.

Check out Cassian's meeting with Mon Mothma below with footage of some Imperial Stormtroopers marching through this unknown location.

Still haven't seen season 1 yet. Anyway, how is Mandolorian S3? I've been avoiding spoilers, I want to binge it when all the episodes are up.

@Shroombeast - Bo-Katan is the only good thing about this season so far, everyone else is boring.

Awesome. Season 2 can't get here soon enough. Then PLEASE, somebody get Tony Gilroy a multi-year contract with Lucasfilm.

Andor was good don’t get me wrong. The latter episodes of the
Season really picked up, but I think Andor was something lucasfilm thought the slower pace and bigger budget would have people watching. It still amazes me the level of writing and production that was put into Andor vs Obi wan lol. Mind you this was a character no one was beating down lucasfilm door to see more of lol.

@blackiron777 -

They relied only on the name of the character and Ewan Mcgregor (same for the mando-verse)

While Andor had to be write from the scratch, the real difference is also the use of volume in every star wars show except Andor

I wonder if we'll get that moment from Rebels where Mon Mothma announces her resignation from the Senate in live-action. That would be nice to see
