OBI-WAN KENOBI Leak May Reveal Darth Vader's Hard-Hitting Introduction In The Upcoming Limited Series

New details about Obi-Wan Kenobi have come to light, and they might reveal how we're introduced to Darth Vader in the Disney+ limited series. Be warned, however, that potential spoilers follow from here...

Star Wars fans spent years wondering why Anakin Skywalker had to wear that imposing black costume as Darth Vader, and as the original trilogy continued, we'd learn that it was keeping the Sith Lord alive. In 2005's Revenge of the Sith, the truth behind what happened to Anakin was finally revealed when we got to see that epic clash between the former Jedi and his Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

After cutting off Anakin's legs and one of his arms, Obi-Wan left his former pupil to burn. It was a harsh punishment, but one "The Chosen One" arguably deserved after murdering those Jedi Younglings in cold blood while helping Darth Sidious destroy the Jedi Order (among many other crimes).

When Obi-Wan Kenobi begins, Darth Vader will have had a decade to think about what his former Master did to him. We know that his suit leaves Anakin in constant pain, and according to Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com), the series will drive that point home at the beginning of episode three.

Apparently, we see a badly scarred Anakin on a table, limbless and in agony as his various body parts are reconnected and re-activated after a night in the Bacta Tank. The site goes on to explain that this is how Vader begins his day (every day), emphasising what he's been going through since his defeat in Revenge of the Sith.

A new trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi is expected to be released during the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event, so here's hoping we get a glimpse of Darth Vader in action in that next sneak peek.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres with its first two episodes on Disney+ on May 27.

To be fair, Obi-Wan has his share of responsability into the making of Darth Vader, not just Palpatine, the Jedi Council, Ahsoka, Padme and Anakin himself.

It will be extremely profound to see Vader as a remnant, the remains of the man he once was. A waste that clings to anger and hatred to continue living.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Speculation. It's not hard to think up things for this show that have a high chance of happening.

@toylled - Nah. This is pretty specific. It's one thing to say "Vader and Obi Wan will fight once or twice". It's something completely different to say "At the beginning of Episode 3 we see Vader's limbless body on a table after a night in the Bacta Tank while his robotic arm and legs are reattached and activated. This happens every morning just before Vader eats his bowl of Count Chocula."

Speculation is one thing. Details like this is a leak.

Referencing one's secondary site on the main site is wonky, at best.

No more Bakta tank flashbacks please. I know Anakin uses them often but still. We had enough of that in Book of Bobas Friends.
