As filming on the upcoming Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series continues in The UK, Just Jared has shared a whopping 90 photos from the set, giving us a first look at star Ewan McGregor as the legendary Jedi Master of the title.
Unfortunately, the Halston actor is wearing a plastic covering which obscures the majority of his costume, and his signature beard is also hidden behind a mask. There's no mistaking the Stormtrooper outfit one of the extras has under his robe, however, and we also have a few shots of a female Imperial Officer.
This might be one of the previously announced supporting cast members (Simone Kessell, perhaps?), but it's very hard to tell with the mask.
UPDATE: There's another shot of the officer without her mask, and it actually looks like it might be Game of Thrones alum Indira Varma.
Specific plot details are under wraps, but we do know that Obi-Wan will be set between the events of Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, and that Hayden Christensen will return as Darth Vader for a confrontation with his old master. There are also rumors that younger versions of both Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa will appear, but that's yet to be confirmed.
McGregor joins Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. Their characters have not been announced.
The Mandalorian director Deborah Chow is set to helm all episodes of the series, with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy on board as producer along-with Chow, Jason D. McGatlin (The Rise of Skywalker), Tracey Seaward (The Queen), and John Swartz (Rogue One).
