Earlier today, Lucasfilm announced the rest of the main cast members for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series, and The Queen's Gambit breakout Moses Ingram was among them.

While no details on any of the characters were shared, Ingram's follow-up social media post has sent speculation into overdrive.

As you can see, the actress captioned her Instagram post with "I play with lightsabers."

While there's a chance Ingram isn't actually referencing her character here (maybe she plays with lightsabers IRL?), fans have understandably taken this as a hint that she's been cast as a force-wielder of some description. A Jedi is a possibility, but it seems more likely that Ingram will play one of The Inquisitors that were sent out to hunt down the last remaining Jedi following "The Purge."

Specific plot details are under wraps, but we do know that Obi-Wan will be set between the events of Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, and that Hayden Christensen will return as Darth Vader for a confrontation with his old master. There are also rumors that younger versions of both Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa will appear, but that's yet to be confirmed.

Ingram joins Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. Ewan McGregor will reprise the role of the legendary Jedi.

The Mandalorian director Deborah Chow is set to helm all episodes of the series, with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy on board as producer along-with Chow, Jason D. McGatlin (The Rise of Skywalker), Tracey Seaward (The Queen), and John Swartz (Rogue One).
