The premiere of The Book of Boba Fett is fast approaching, and Lucasfilm has dropped another new TV spot and two more character posters for the highly anticipated Disney+ series. The bounty hunter and Fennec Shand take centre stage on the latter, while the latest footage drops some big hints about what happened after Fett was left for dead in the Sarlacc Pit.
There's a very intriguing shot of Fett inside a Bacta Tank, though it's unclear whether that's from the immediate aftermath of his apparent demise or some present-day after effects.
Fett does look a little younger there, though, so we'd be willing to bet The Book of Boba Fett is going to finally explain how he survived and why he spent such a long time without his armour. The Mandalorian showed that it ended up in the possession of Cobb Vanth, but there's surely more story to be told.
The Book of Boba Fett finds the title bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
