VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE Stills Spotlight The Feuding Symbiotes & Director Andy Serkis

On the heels of today's trailer, three new official promo stills for Venom: Let There Be Carnage have been released. See more of the warring symbiotes along with a BTS shot of director Andy Serkis...

Following today's suitably bonkers first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, three new promo images have been shared online.

The first gives us another look at Venom (Tom Hardy) extending his jaws (we assume some unfortunate goon is about to be eaten), while we also have an official still of that final shot of Carnage (Woody Harrelson) from the teaser. There's also a new behind-the-scenes pic of Andy Serkis directing his star.

Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle) was a somewhat surprising choice to take over from Ruben Fleischer as director, but we're very much looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table.

As the title suggests, the Sony Pictures sequel will see Venom go fang-to-fang with his arch-nemesis from the comics, Carnage. The first movie proved to be highly divisive, but many fans are likely to give Let There Be Carnage a chance just to witness that long-awaited battle on the big screen.

Michelle Williams and Reid Scott are also set to reprise their roles from Venom, and they'll be Joined by Naomie Harris as the villainous Shriek, and Stephen Graham as an unnamed cop (he can be glimpsed in the trailer reading the Daily Bugle). Sean Delaney, Laurence Spellman, and Larry Olubamiwo are also on board in undisclosed roles.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set for release on September 24. Let us know if you're looking forward to the movie in the comments.

Carnage looks too saturated, its like someone ran a basic filter over him. I dont like his design, wish his teeth were black. But tbh, i will definitely hate watch this one too.

I mean I’m not gonna be one of those guys that say the films gonna be terrible based on a shitty trailer.

I remember the first trailer for Venom was terrible. But then then 2nd one was actually pretty good...

The trailer had me cracking up - really looking forward to this. This is just the weirdest franchise in the best and worst way.

Haven't watched the trailer yet, but there's a good chance that the only thing I like about Venom 2 will be BTS pictures of Andy Sekis cosplaying as George Lucas.

@Kyos - Andy Serkis is easily one of the most effortlessly cool looking people in existence

Didn't really like the first one much other than Hardy.

Harrelson seems like he's going to do really well in the role though! So, i'll definitely check it out when it's out of theaters.

How is no one else commenting on the fact that Serkis quite literally looks like George Lucas here? Like, an exact copy.

@iZinDiaN - Because I thought it "was" George Lucas. LOL. Seriously, I saw what I thought was George, and immediately, "Where is Andy"? Then I got a closer look.

Serkis looks like he's embodying the essence of George Lucas in that pic lol

This movie looks to be like the perfect follow-up to the first one in the sense that it looks equally as awful.

I despised Venom. It felt like an early superhero 2000s film ala Catwoman. I literally waited for this stupid trailer for years out of pure morbid curiosity of what Carnage looks like and nothing else.

And he, no joke, looks like all those awful fanart recolorings of Venom with a crappy red filter. I’m bewildered right now. What utter trash.

I absolutely love Venom and Carnage. Was not a huge fan of the first Venom but I accepted it and still enjoyed it for what it was but this does not look good. Looks bland and lame and these are 2 of my favorite Spidey villains. Wish we could have had something completely different in the MCU down the line once Spidey has finished his first character arc, in college, etc. Could have been glorious

So....did the ketchup splatter on the sun t-shirt with the bridge image making a smiley face remind anyone else of Watchmen...?
