VENOM: Tom Hardy Films A Brutal Fight Scene With Scott Haze In New Set Photos & Videos

After receiving confirmation last week that Ruben Fleischer's upcoming Spider-Man spinoff, Venom, would draw its inspiration from both Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes, we've now received a whole new batch of set photos, giving us a look at Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock going toe-to-toe with one of the film's baddies, played by Scott Haze.

Now, while we still don't know who Haze is playing, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that he's one of the Life Foundation's five Guardians that end up bonding with the symbiote offspring in the two aforementioned storylines, meaning he's likely one of the of three male members: Phage, Riot, or Lasher. Another possibility is that he could be playing the infamous Cletus Kasady, a.k.a. Carnage, but then again, considering his overall appearance (and lack of hair), that's probably a longshot at best.

The photos are copyrighted, but you can check them out at the link below:

Plus, here are two set videos, courtesy of Atlanta Filming. The first video sees Eddie Brock get hit by a van, driven by Haze's character, and the second video features Haze taunting a bloodied Hardy.
Tom Hardy is Eddie Brock in Venom, the upcoming film from Sony’s Marvel Universe releasing October 5, 2018 – production starts this fall.

Venom features:
Director: Ruben Fleischer
Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom
Riz Ahmed in an undisclosed role
Michelle Williams in an undisclosed role
Jenny Slate in an undisclosed role
Reid Scott in an undisclosed role
Scott Haze in an undisclosed role
Woody Harrelson in an undisclosed role

Venom unleashes in theaters October 5, 2018

I know I’m on the outside here but I don’t mind the non-connectivity with the MCU, at least at this stage until there are possible sequels then maybe... Do your thing Tom and make this good.
