Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be with us very soon, and Sony Pictures has begun to amp up promotion for the sequel as its October 1 release draws near.
Following several new TV spots and a series of character banners, Regal has shared a new IMAX poster for the movie which features some pretty cool artwork of the feuding symbiotes locked in combat.
Venom vs. Carnage is something Marvel Comics fans have been waiting to see play out on screen for many years, and they'll finally get the chance to witness what promises to be an epic battle when Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson's takes on the iconic characters cross paths next month.
Check out the poster below.
As the title suggests, the Sony Pictures sequel will see Venom go fang-to-fang with his arch-nemesis from the comics, Carnage. The first movie did prove to be highly divisive, but many fans are likely to give Let There Be Carnage a chance, if only to witness that long-awaited battle on the big screen.
Michelle Williams and Reid Scott are set to reprise their roles from Venom, and they'll be Joined by Naomie Harris as the villainous Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Detective Patrick Mulligan. Sean Delaney, Laurence Spellman, and Larry Olubamiwo are also on board in undisclosed roles.
We recently found out that Venom 2's release had been pushed forward by two weeks, and will now open on October 1. The movie is rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of violence and action, some strong language, disturbing material and suggestive references."
