DC Universe Online brings high-energy action to the forefront with a combat system designed to deliver a fast-paced action experience with the extraordinary powers of DC Super Heroes and Villains at your disposal. DCUO offers a dramatic online setting where players battle with or against their favorite DC Super Heroes and Villains including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. @LEEE777 No Xbox, just PS3 and PC. They used the PS3 as the base platform, so it's supposed to run and look great on it, but I don't think you can go wrong playing it on a beefed up PC :o)

The graphics look reminds me a lot of City of Heroes. Though it's not Marvel, I'll give it a try ;)

cant wait for this game!! people need to watch the cinematic trailer, so EPIC!!

@LEEE777 there was actually a marvel equivalent in the works for xbox 360 but for reasons i cant recall it was cancelled. kind of glad about that as ive got a ps3 aswell

What we need is a console sandbox style Marvel or DC game. Imagine GTA or Red Dead Redemption but in the Marvel U. That would be amazing.

Champions online is what was left of the Marvel MMO engine. After Marvel canceled the project with Cryptic they made it there own after purchasing Champions pen & paper RPG. Then Microsoft was on board for it on the 360 too then canceled on them as well.
You can play Champions Online with a 360 controller on your PC it's fun at first then it just feels a dry after a while.

Anyone else think this and Star Wars: The Old Republic will bomb? Sure the preview looks good, but c'mon. Bioware should have released SW: KOTOR III not this MMORPG. Really tired of these.

Sure it is $15 a month but when you buy it the first subscription is free so that's one heck of a deal to me. It saves me money for a month.

Payments ARE fact for BOTH PS3 and PC. I've heard it said by the game developers more than a dozen times. I know, I know. "Payments aren't right on the PS3." Well everything in life isn't free.
