Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, "Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth’s" interactive environments are inspired by iconic Marvel comic artwork and the Secret Invasion storyline. The game will be released this fall for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft with Kinect for Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii U system. "Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" features 20 different characters, including Avengers such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor, as well as other fan-favorite super heroes and super villains from the Marvel Universe. I usually don't like judging things prematurely, but these screen shots aren't too impressive. I'll save my final judgment until after I've see some gameplay but so far it's not looking too good IMO. That new DC fighting game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" looks ten times better than this so far.

Graphics do help out in a game. Especially this day of age, with the technology we have now, I sure as hell expect some great visuals from a $60 purchase.

And I was around during the ol' Atari Pit Fall and Pong days. I remember playing table top arcades I think it was Shinobi at Pizza Hut.

RTRDO, dude, I wasn't saying they were the same year, just giving you examples, chill out. However, we had our old Atari even before I was born, I was raised on that well before I touched an NES, which we didn't get until

It isn't a deal breaker, but for today's games, why not expect some great graphics? We're capable, the games back then were as good as they could be back then. Times changes buddy, the fact is to deny that graphics don't make a difference is silly. It's as much apart of the game as the sound, writing, controller mechanics, all that good stuff together makes a good game, not just one thing.

Mike Tyson's punch out is the greatest game of all time and I still play it often, those graphics are 8bit, graphics don't always make or break a game

I gotcha man, I just read it as you being angry. My bad.

I agree though, there are games out there that I love that look terrible. One was for the PS2, it was Star Wars Academy I think? Luke was in all black and you were the new Jedi Apprentice. Shitty graphics, but the gameplay was just straight up fun.

But this game, graphics aside still doesn't seem like a good buy, mostly because I really don't like the majority of motion type games. They always dumb them down to the point where I feel like I should be 6 to enjoy the game. Granted some from the Wii were good, but only some. I haven't played a lot of Kinnect games, but so far, I don't like any of them.
