The Mortal Kombat Legacy continues in Season 2 as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kenshi, and Ermac join the ranks. The rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors will unfold as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. The epic battle for Earthrealm has finally begun.

While I loved Season One and Season Two looks better cause it looks a little bit closer to the source material (greatest fighter franchise and game franchise ever IMO). I'm still not sold that this is the guy who should direct a live action reboot of the film franchise.

looks far better than first season, maybe it wont be so grounded anymore. i mean... its mortal kombat. it cant be "dark knight realistic"

@WingDingaLing: don't feel bad, they screwed up Kung Lao and Ermac as well. Ermac looks so generic. I just hope if and when Quan Chi and Baraka return that they don't screw those two up again. They're my favorite characters. Someone should petition and try to get Warner Bros. to find a new director for a reboot. Mortal Kombat fan my ass. You can't see it in the web series that he's a fan. MK isn't suppose to have a realistic feel to it. Dumbasses

That trailer is awesome!

I loved the first season & season 2 looks even more immense.

Disappointe din the cast change of Johnny Cage & Stryker, but whatever, things happen.

@Lizard1 Yeah, the first season may have been a bit realistic agreed, but from the stuff that is in that trailer for season 2, how can you say that's not Mortal Kombat, it's got more of a mystisism effect & feel to it & some good looking SFX for the Powers compared to season 1.

I think Kevin is gonna go Balls to the Wall when he does the film.

I just hope he casts Ali Larter as Sonya for the film.

@Shamo: Then you obviously aren't much of a Mortal Kombat fan in my eyes.

@TMW1987: I'm not sold. I want an adaptation of the first three games for a film trilogy in a way that's not realistic but not over the top. Kevin Tancharoen doesn't fit the bill.

Season 1 was actually pretty good. But this looks even better. I'm pretty jacked up about it to say the least.

I like how Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is reprising the role of Shang Tsung

I think it looks pretty cheesy, the acting, Shang Tsung,and the dialogue are pretty bad,but the action looks great for low budget. mk needs to be big and in your face. Hope it gets picked up and pampered a little

@Shamo: Ah lol I've stated it in countless articles including this one that, Mortal Kombat is my favorite game and game franchise. I truly don't think it gets the respect these days that it deserves. I take this property being adapted like a lot of people do on here of superhero films and what not.

oh alright, didn't know that. i'll leave it alone then. but honestly, we're about 5-10 years away from seeing any video game being properly adapted. maybe Metal Gear Solid, Assassins Creed or Splinter Cell will be the first ones to set the bar though. lets hope.

MK is so overrated. Shaq Fu was a better fighting game than that and that's not saying much either. Fatal Fury is the best fighting game series ever.
