The Kombat Pack 1 will be included with the Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, the Limited Edition, and the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat X. It will also be available separately for $30 as a digital download. Mortal Kombat X will be out on April 14 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.

@Ramiel It's because they are. NRS confirmed that all of these characters are still being worked on. None of this is day one DLC.

Makes me hope they do another Kombat pack down the line with Rain, Havik, Fujin, and Li Mei.

Used to be one of my favorite game franchises. Now.....[frick] this. Tired of Boon force feeding his favorite character Scorpion down our throats every time. Surprised the character doesn't have a solo game and movie out yet. I get dlc. But to have to pay for all the extra stuff on launch is bullshit. Put it in the game for everyone if it's ready on launch. Damn cash grab. Not just this game but all of them are doing this now. Launch the dlc later to keep the game interesting.

Jollem - Best way to get that twice the amount of characters is to choose characters that aren't similar to the current roster. But realistically speaking, we'll probably get 50% more characters and I'd be fine with that. I just hope NetherRealm studios doesn't BS us again and have Scorpion as a character in Injustice.

I always thought Bane should be in Mortal Kombat. His finishing move could be breaking backs or crushing skulls.

He was in MK: Special Forces, back in the days of PS1. He also made a special appearance in MK9 in one of the challenges but only on PS Vita.

They should of put him in Armageddon, but pumped that he's gonna be playable in MKX.

@TheRedCondom that explains it. Outside of the fighting games I've only played Shaolin Monks and MK Mythologies Sub Zero. I don't even remember special forces. Armageddon was an incredible game. The character creation was awesome.
