In regards to story details, NintendoEverything notes that it takes place on Christmas Eve, with mob boss Black Mask putting a bounty on Batman for unknown reasons. With the top assassins from the DC Comics Universe on the hunt for Batman, the mob also pays off the cops to hunt down Batman as well. Also, Rocksteady Studios (who created the original Arkham games) are working on a "tightly wrapped" project. In regards to Arkham: Origins Blackgate, the game will take place right after Origins, and take place only in Blackgate Prison. I'm loving the slightly cleaner looking versions of everyone. You can really tell these are the early days of Bat's. Black Mask looks badass

Wow, this jut seem to come out of nowhere. So I wonder if Rocksteady are still making the rumoured JL game.

Speaking of games, anyone know if MoS is getting a tie-in game? I know most movie tie-in games are awful, but it'll give me my superman fix.

When they said 8 assassin's vs Batman I was wondering who hired them. Well I got my answer.

On a side note notice how the costumes look more new 52-ish. Not that that's a bad thing just saying.

Extremely disappointed by the Vita version, I was hoping for something other than a side-scroller. The console version on the other looks great, definitely pre-ordering.

I think JohnnyKrypton was trolling cause it clearly says NintendoEverything in the first [frick]ing sentence and also has an actual LINK LINK under the "find us on facebook" icon... besides, Johnny, you can literally go to ANY gaming site and find this news, so it's not like it's hard to come across lol. Is it just me, or does the costume looks somewhat similar to the Nolan suit? Anyway this looks awesome, I would have preferred a direct sequel but who knows, the tightly wrapped project may be just that.

I definitely think Red Hood will be one of the hired assassins, and that his 'boss fight' will be at Ace Chemicals and result in him falling into that vat, and that he'll probably return in the finale as The Joker.

@Maxi91291 Christmas Eve at night makes sense. It means the streets of Gotham will mostly be empty, as people will be at home with their families and stuff, rather than outside.

everyone complaining about rocksteady studios not being a part of it...you do know that WB owns rocksteady so even if there not involved you can bet that some key players will be in the mix

I like how they have the 'pre-bottle-eye' Penguin in the game. I guess we'll see him get his monocle at some point in the game, possibly at the hands of one of Black Mask's henchmen (he mentions in City that he pulled out the eyes of whoever monocled him, then left them on a busy freeway). It's hinted in Arkham City that Penguin had a rivalry with Black Mask, as he had Black Mask's first mask stuck to a skeleton, so perhaps we'll see the rivalry in the game.

As for visual quality though, I must admit the model renderings don't seem as high quality as the previous games.

Damn! We get a game reveal, release date, synopsis, screenshots, and conformation of Deathstroke, Black Mask and The Penguin! What a great day :) I'd like to see more riddled (obv with his challenges) and maybe we can get robin and batgirl? Also, more villains besides the eight thugs! How about a nod to the red hood gang ;)

Marvel may have a cinematic universe, but DC is Clearly building up there video game universe (quite amazingly as well)
